Massage therapy is a popular treatment for back pain, headaches, migraines, muscle spasms, anxiety, depression, and fatigue.
When performed by a trained massage therapist, massages are very safe, relaxing, and can even improve your body’s physical function. Depending on the reason you are seeking a massage, you can expect to see an improvement in as little as one to six sessions.
What to Expect
Our massage therapists are trained, professional, and courteous. If you are seeking treatment for a specific health issue, they will adjust their massage methods and techniques accordingly. A typical session lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. Many people feel very relaxed after their massage, but some have a burst of energy and concentration.
On your first visit, we will request that you complete our patient forms. Our massage therapist will ask questions pertaining to your history with massage therapy, concerns, and any pain or discomfort you have been experiencing.
After your massage, you may feel sore immediately or days later. We recommend stretching the muscles that are sore and always stay hydrated. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns.
How to Prepare
Massages release toxins from your soft tissue, so we recommend staying hydrated before and after your massage appointment. You are more than welcome to fill out our patient forms in advance.
